Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

For residents of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut · Last updated October 21, 2026

Some US state laws protect “consumer health data” and ask for a separate policy. Joining BeMan’s early access, or buying a Founding Pass, can show you’re working on quitting porn, so we treat that as consumer health data. Our full Privacy Policy covers everything else.

What we collect

  • Your email address, and the fact that you joined BeMan’s early access or bought a Founding Pass.

  • Proof that you agreed to join: the time, the exact wording you agreed to, the page, your IP address and your browser string.

  • Your purchase: pass number, amount, Stripe’s payment references, refunds and disputes, and the Terms of Sale line you accepted, with its version and the time you pressed Pay.

  • If you withdraw or ask for a refund online: your name, the email you paid with, your pass number, the statement, another address for your receipt if you give one, and when we received it.

  • Whether our emails reach you, and whether you left the list.

  • Scrambled forms of your IP address: they cap how many requests one network can send, and we also keep one with a checkout or a withdrawal request.

  • Your emails to us, if you write.

We keep the campaign link you came from only as a daily count per campaign, and on a checkout only until it ends.

Why we collect it

To run the early-access list and send its emails; to sell and deliver the Founding Pass, email you about it, refund you, answer disputes and keep our accounts; to prove you agreed and accepted the Terms of Sale; to see which channels bring sign-ups and buyers; to keep bots and floods out; to stop emailing addresses that don’t work and people who left; and to answer you.

Where it comes from

From you, through our sign-up form, our checkout (Stripe’s payment form), our Withdraw page and your emails; from Stripe, which tells us about your payment, refunds and disputes; and from our email provider, which tells us whether an email arrived.

How we handle it

We keep it in our database, run by Supabase in Paris, and in our mailbox at Hostinger. Resend sends our emails and Stripe takes payments. Only the person who runs BeMan can open the database. We use it only for the purposes above.

Who we share it with

  • Stripe, when you buy: besides taking the payment for us, it uses your payment and device data for its own fraud prevention and legal duties.

  • Apple or Google, if you pay with their wallet.

Our other providers process it only for us, under contract: Framer (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email) and Hostinger (mailbox). We never sell it.

Tracking across sites

No one collects data through our site about what you do on other sites over time, with two exceptions. On the checkout page, Stripe reads device and browsing signals and uses them for fraud prevention across its network. And on every page, Framer’s site-editing tool checks with framer.com whether your browser is signed in to Framer.

Your rights

  • Confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, get a copy, and get the list of companies we shared it with.

  • Correct it: tell us what’s wrong and what it should say. We correct it, or tell you why we can’t.

  • Withdraw your consent: leave the list from any of its emails, or write to us.

  • Have it deleted. Copies at our providers go as they roll over: within 7 days for our database’s backups, and within 30 days, plus 7 days of backups, at our email provider. We keep only your address on our do-not-email list, so we never email you again (except the receipt if you later send us a withdrawal or refund request with it), and the purchase records the law makes us keep; Stripe keeps the payment records its own legal duties require. Until a Founding Pass is refunded, we keep the email it was paid with on its order: the pass and its emails run on that address. If you bought a pass, deleting your data also stops every email about it.

Write to privacy@beman.app, ideally from the address concerned; we reply only to that address. It’s free. We answer within one month, and never later than 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why within those 45 days and answer within 45 more days at most. If we refuse, you can appeal by replying to our answer: we answer the appeal within 45 days, and if we still refuse, we tell you how to complain to your state attorney general.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and, before the change applies, email everyone on the list and, from our mailbox, each buyer at the address they paid with.
